Avengelyne - Prophet

In 1996 and 1997, Maximum Press published this two-issue crossover miniseries, pairing Rob Liefeld's warrior angel Avengelyne with the grim future of the Prophet universe. Written by Robert Napton and Rob Liefeld, with art from The Mike Deodato Studios, Emir Ribeiro, and Stephen Platt, it pitted the divine heroine against a dystopian threat. This brief but intense clash of worlds highlights the early, bombastic era of Liefeld's creator-owned imprint.
