Avengelyne Ashcan

A one-shot ashcan edition from Maximum Press, this 1995 issue introduced readers to the angelic warrior Avengelyne in a compact, promotional format. Created by Rob Liefeld and writer Jeph Loeb, it previewed the character's blend of cosmic mythology and 1990s extreme action. Though brief, it marked the beginning of Avengelyne's long-running presence in comics.
