Austin Stone

From 1975 to 1976, Limestone Press published just two issues of Austin Stone, a short-lived comic that captured the irreverent, underground spirit of its Texas namesake. Primarily written and drawn by Jim Franklin and Kerry Awn, the series is a cult artifact of the 1970s alternative comix scene, blending surreal humor with a distinctly regional, countercultural voice.
