Assassination Classroom

In the 2014–2018 series Assassination Classroom, published by Viz, students of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High are tasked with a deadly, high-stakes assignment: kill their teacher before he destroys the Earth. This tentacled, yellow creature, known only as Koro-sensei, is both their target and their most effective instructor, pushing them to excel in academics and assassination alike. Written and illustrated by Yūsei Matsui, the series blends dark comedy, action, and heartfelt mentorship into a uniquely compelling narrative.
