In 2008, Portuguese publisher Edições Asa launched its own edition of the classic European adventure series As Aventuras de Blake e Mortimer, collecting the iconic tales of the British intelligence officer and his scientist friend. The run, spanning 18 issues, brings the beloved Franco-Belgian strip—originally created by Edgar P. Jacobs—to a new audience, preserving the duo's Cold War-era espionage and scientific mysteries.
