Archie's Super Teens
Archie · 1994–1996 · 4 issues
About the series
In the mid-1990s, Archie Comics launched this four-issue series spotlighting the superhero alter egos of Riverdale's favorite teens. Written primarily by Frank Doyle and Fred Hembeck, with art by Bob White, Bret Blevins, and Dan DeCarlo, the stories pit Pureheart the Powerful and Captain Hero against madcap villains, with Pop Tate and the gang caught in the fray. A lighthearted, short-lived spin-off, it captures the playful, Silver Age-inspired energy that defined Archie's occasional forays into superhero parody.
