Archie's Mechanics

Archie’s Mechanics (1954–1955) is a three-issue Archie Comics spin-off that swaps Riverdale High’s hallways for a garage, putting Archie Andrews and his pals to work in a car repair shop. Drawn by George Frese, the series turns the gang’s signature mishaps into automotive-themed comedy, with each issue delivering a short-lived but charming detour into blue-collar hijinks. Though brief, it’s a quirky footnote in the Archie universe, showing the publisher’s willingness to experiment with its core cast in the 1950s.
