Aquablue

In the early 1990s, Carlsen Comics published this two-issue German-language series, a concise sci-fi tale set on the water world Aquablue. The story follows a young orphan who returns to his home planet, only to find its indigenous culture threatened by a ruthless corporate colonization. While brief, the series is notable for showcasing the early European-influenced art of a young Ralf König, better known for his later, very different comedic work. It remains a compact, visually striking artifact of the era's German comics scene.
