About the series
In the distant future, a colossal artificial planet called Aposimz drifts through space, its inhabitants living within a frozen, decaying shell. When a young man named Etherow discovers a mysterious power tied to the planet's core, he becomes entangled in a conflict between the ruling "puppet" cyborgs and the desperate human survivors. Created by Tsutomu Nihei (Blame!, Knights of Sidonia) and published by Glénat from 2018 to 2022, this nine-issue series blends Nihei's signature biomechanical architecture with a stark, survival-driven narrative. It matters as a late-career distillation of his themes—vast, indifferent worlds and the fragile humans who carve out meaning within them.
