Apache

In the early 1980s, the French publisher Semic launched Apache, a 27-issue series that brought together some of the most celebrated talents in European comics, including René Goscinny, Roger Lécureux, and Morris. Featuring artwork by Morris, Bowen, and Norma, the series offered a distinct take on the Western genre, blending adventure with the sharp storytelling and visual flair its creators were known for. While it ran for only a short time, Apache stands as a notable example of the vibrant, creator-driven comic scene emerging from France during that era.
