Published by the Sprawling Anomaly Publishing Empire, Anomaly (1969–1971) was a three-issue comic series that brought together the distinctive talents of Jan Strnad, Robert Kline, and Vaughn Bodé, with art by Herb Arnold, Kline, and Bodé. A brief but memorable experiment in underground comix, it showcased the era's countercultural energy through its creators' idiosyncratic storytelling and bold, psychedelic visuals.
