Anita Fotostory
Oberon · 1982–1985 · 34 issues
About the series
In the early 1980s, Dutch publisher Oberon launched Anita Fotostory, a photocomics series that ran for 34 issues. Unlike traditional drawn comics, each page was composed of real photographs featuring models, lending the series a distinctive, cinematic quality that blended soap-opera drama with the visual language of comic strips. The title character, Anita, was a young woman navigating romance, mystery, and everyday challenges, making the series a notable European example of the "fotoromanzo" genre during its brief but memorable run.
