A short-lived experiment from Studio Ironcat, AmeriManga (2002–2003) was a five-issue anthology designed to bridge Western and Japanese comic sensibilities. Featuring a rotating roster of creators, the series showcased original, creator-owned stories that blended manga-inspired art and storytelling with American comic themes. Though brief, it captured a moment when publishers were actively exploring cross-cultural hybrid genres, making it a curious footnote in the early-2000s manga boom.
