Almanach de L'Intrépide

The Almanach de L'Intrépide was a French annual comic anthology published by the Société Parisienne d'Edition from 1911 to 1939, running for 29 issues. A companion to the weekly L'Intrépide, these yearly volumes collected serialized adventure and humor strips for a young readership, offering a durable, collected format of the era's popular boys' fiction. While the series featured contributions from many of the period's leading French cartoonists, it is most closely associated with the prolific artist and writer A.
