Published in France by the Société Parisienne d’Édition from 1937 to 1941, Almanach de L’As was a five-issue annual comic anthology tied to the popular boys’ magazine L’As. Featuring a rotating cast of adventure and humor strips, the series showcased the energetic, pre-war style of French comics, with its most prominent creators including the prolific illustrator and writer Marijac.
