Eugen Semitjov’s wartime newspaper strip Mannen som gjorde alt for Norge was so popular that it launched its own weekly comic, Alle menns blad, running 241 issues from 1945 to 1954 from Forlagshuset. The series blended Semitjov’s own serials with syndicated adventure strips by Francis Durbridge and Leslie Charteris, illustrated by a rotating team that included Alfred Sindall and Mike Roy. It stands as a key Norwegian post-war anthology, reflecting the era’s hunger for heroic escapism and the local appetite for international crime and suspense.
