Aliens

From 1986 to 1989, Firebird Press released a five-issue Aliens series written and drawn by Sherman Burnett, a self-contained independent take on the extraterrestrial terror. This short run stands as an early, small-press adaptation of the film franchise, offering a distinct vision outside the major publishers' later, more famous Aliens comics. Burnett’s solo effort is notable for bringing the xenomorphs to the comic page in the mid-80s, contributing to the pre-Dark Horse era of licensed horror comics.
