From 1990 to 1995, Norbert Hethke Verlag revived the classic German adventure hero Akim with Akim Neue Abenteuer, a 27-issue series written and illustrated entirely by the legendary Hansrudi Wäscher. Building on the character's long-running European popularity, Wäscher delivered his signature blend of jungle thrills, exotic locales, and clean, dynamic artwork.
