About the series
From 1967 to 1979, the Italian publisher Mon Journal released 133 issues of Akim-Color, a long-running comic series that brought the adventures of the jungle hero Akim to a wider audience in vivid color. The series is most closely associated with writer Roberto Renzi and artist Augusto Pedrazza, whose consistent work defined its look and storytelling across more than a decade.
