About the series
In the late 1980s and 1990s, Norway's Semic Press released Agent X9 Specialalbum, a series of 12 oversized albums reprinting classic newspaper strips. The collection focused heavily on the work of writer Peter O'Donnell and artist Jim Holdaway, showcasing their sleek, suspenseful espionage tales. Later issues also featured strips by writer Donne Avenell and artist Morten Myklebust, broadening the series' scope. For Scandinavian fans, these albums provided a definitive, high-quality archive of some of the medium's most influential adventure storytelling.
