Since 2016, Hjemmet / Egmont has revived the classic newspaper strip Agent X9 in a modern comic format, with a four-issue run that blends the original espionage world created by Peter O'Donnell with new stories by Jens E. Røsåsen. The series is anchored by the moody, expressive artwork of Romero, who brings a contemporary European comics sensibility to the secret agent's adventures.
