About the series
From 2015 onward, Silvester published Aeropostale - Legendarische piloten, a seven-issue comic series chronicling the real-life exploits of the pioneering mail pilots who braved the skies in the early days of aviation. Christophe Bec and Frederik van Wonterghem wrote the series, with art by Patrick Dumas, Bernard Khattou, and Fabrizio Faina bringing the perilous routes of the Aéropostale to vivid life. This series stands as a tribute to the daring aviators whose flights laid the groundwork for modern air travel, told through a blend of historical accuracy and dramatic adventure.
