Marvel’s Adventure into Mystery (1956–1957) was a short-lived, eight-issue horror-suspense anthology that leaned into the pre-Code chill of its era, with Carl Wessler scripting most of the tales. The series showcased the early, atmospheric work of artists Bob Powell, Don Heck, and Gene Colan, who filled its pages with eerie twists and shadowy figures.
