In 2023, Schreiber & Leser launched this German-language edition of Jacques Tardi's long-running series, collecting the celebrated cartoonist's adventures of the fearless journalist Adèle Blanc-Sec. Tardi, who writes and draws the series, blends historical Parisian settings with fantastical elements, from pterodactyls to resurrected mummies, in a uniquely witty and detailed ligne claire style. Martin Budde contributes as co-writer on this volume, which marks the beginning of a new chapter for the character in German translation.
