From 1994 to 1997, Ken Akamatsu’s A.I. ga Tomaranai! (also known as A. I. Love You) ran in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine as a nine-volume romantic comedy. The series follows a high school boy who accidentally summons a beautiful, hyper-competent artificial intelligence from a computer, leading to a chaotic blend of slapstick, sci-fi, and harem-style humor.
