3×3 Eyes

From 2000 to 2005, Pika Édition published the complete 40-issue French run of 3×3 Eyes, Yuzo Takada’s sprawling supernatural adventure. This series follows the immortal, three-eyed Sanjiyan and her human partner, Yakumo, as they search for a way to become human while battling ancient dark forces. Takada’s intricate art and blend of horror, mythology, and action defined the series, making it a landmark import that introduced French readers to a darker, epic side of manga. Its full, uninterrupted release in France helped cement the story’s status as a cult classic outside Japan.
