100 Bullets

In 2003–2004, Semic S.A. published a two-issue French translation of Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso's acclaimed crime saga, 100 Bullets. This edition re-presented the opening of the original series, in which a mysterious agent offers ordinary people an attache case containing a gun, 100 untraceable bullets, and the chance to settle a past wrong with no consequences. While brief, this release brought Azzarello and Risso's hardboiled, morally complex thriller to a Francophone audience, showcasing the duo's tense storytelling and stark, shadow-drenched art.
