Wyatt Earp, Frontier Marshal #44 (1962)

Wyatt Earp encounters a scheme involving doctored ammunition stored in buckets at a saloon, which he and a preacher discover while investigating criminal activity. When hard-cases swarm the saloon, Earp and the preacher manage to scoop up the collective wages of sin that were abandoned there. In a climactic confrontation, Earp pursues a bushwhacker named Markey, subduing him and delivering him to jail, where Earp makes clear that justice will prevail over lawlessness.
