Pintail Pete catches his friend Punchy in the middle of wrecking a house with wild ideas about simplifying life—tearing out drapes, smashing furniture, demolishing tables and windows, all in the name of his contest entry about making things easier. When Pete finally gets a word in, he delivers the punchline: that pristine house Punchy's been destroying is actually the grand prize home he just won for submitting those very ideas. It's a classic setup where a character's own philosophy backfires in the most destructive way possible.
