The Comet is an all-star anthology comic featuring multiple stories. "Jungle Lord" follows Dick and Bibi pursuing a slave trader named Snape through the jungle, where they are attacked by savages and encounter a witch doctor who performs wild magic, leading to combat and gunplay. "Round the World in a Flying Fish" depicts Jack and Jill's anecdotal adventures on a film-making trip that becomes complicated when gangsters kidnap Jack's Uncle Bob, forcing the children to cooperate with police to recover him. The issue also includes various text features and puzzles, such as "Out of Doors" articles on crabs and farming, a "Teacher's Puzzle" crossword, and reader mail for the Pen Friend Club.
