Sun #86 is an anthology comic featuring multiple stories. "Young Joey in Story-book Land" follows the red-haired boy Joey as he encounters Baby Bunting, whose father is hunting to obtain a rabbit skin, and Joey must help rescue Baby Bunting from danger. "Rogues of Sherwood Forest," based on the Columbia film starring John Derek and Diana Lynn, depicts Robin and Little John fighting against Norman soldiers and King John's oppressive taxation of Huntingdon village, with Robin ultimately triumphing against the King's forces. Additional stories include "A Ticket to Tomahawk," "The Black Rose," and "Charlie Chipmunk," along with film-souvenir contests, a mystery puzzle, and a recipe feature.
