This issue of *Sun* contains three main stories: "Young Joey," in which the character enjoys adventures in a story-book land featuring animated railway engines that come to life and race; "Winchester '73," a Western tale based on a Universal International film in which Indian trader Joe Lamont encounters Young Bull and his warriors, leading to conflicts over a prized Winchester rifle and a woman named Lola; and "A Ticket to Tomahawk," a comic adventure story from 20th Century-Fox. The issue also includes "The Chums of St. Clement's," a school story by Martin Frazer about the Topperties attempting to solve a mystery involving a lost shoe and blackmail, plus the character strip "The Black Rose," a cooking feature, and advertisements.
