Sun #73 is an anthology featuring multiple stories: "Young Joey in Storybook Land" follows Joey and his companions in a fairy-tale setting involving a castle, a golden arrow contest, and encounters with various storybook characters. "Clip Record, Special Agent" depicts agent Clip and Mary pursued through a fantastical underworld by the criminal Hawk, who possesses a mysterious aircraft called the Atom-Gyro, while Clip attempts to stop the villain's plans. "The Fighting O'Flynn" shows a dramatic confrontation involving the O'Flynn family. Additional features include "The Chums of St. Clements," a school mystery story by Martin Frazer involving Dick Loring and his classmates investigating a chemistry master's disappearance and a missing paper; "Moko the Baby Monkey," a humorous animal strip; and "Charlie Chipmunk," a short comic feature.
