This anthology comic features three main stories: "Young Joey Always Late for School," in which a small red boy encounters a fiery dragon in an enchanted forest, quenches its thirst, and receives a magical kiss from the Sleeping Beauty that cures his chronic tardiness; "The Wind in the Willows," adapted from Kenneth Grahame's classic tale and drawn by Hugh McNeill, depicting Mole and Rat's riverside picnic adventure that goes awry when they encounter various river creatures and misadventures; and "The Adventures of Lancelot Lake," a humorous story about a knight named Lancelot who must recover a stolen treasure chest while navigating the schemes of various antagonists and the confusion of a chief guardian. The issue also includes "Deed-a-Day Danny," a short strip about children playing with a kite, and "Find It Who Can!" by John Hunter, a prose story about pirates discovering Spanish treasure.
