This is an anthology issue containing multiple stories and features. "The Swiss Family Robinson" follows the Robinson family, sole survivors of a shipwreck, as they salvage materials from their wrecked vessel and construct a raft to sail to land, encountering difficulties when one family member nearly falls overboard during the launch. "Nature Talks: Cougar Cunning" recounts Jack Barker's encounter with a mother cougar and her three kittens in the mountains, describing how the animals' protective instincts nearly resulted in tragedy. Additional features include "Old Buck and Texas Tich," "Kindheart," "Susan Starr," and "Epics of the Iron Road–No. 3," along with instructional columns on soccer tips, stamp collecting, and needlework.
