"Voyage to Venus" follows young John and his father Professor Randall, along with their dog Rover, as they crash-land their space-ship in a dense forest on Venus and become separated. John navigates through the planet's dangerous flora and fauna, including giant carnivorous flowers and flying reptiles, while his father searches for him from above. The story ends with both characters in peril—John captured by the Ape-men and his father stopped at the edge of a vast lake—leaving their fate unresolved for the next installment. The issue also features several additional stories including "Kindheart," "Formula X," "Addy," and "Smutty Family Robinson," along with text features such as "Susan Starr: The Girl Reporter," an editor's post-bag, a Cadbury's quiz, craft instructions for a doll's house garden, and film corner content about actress Gloria Henry.
