This anthology issue features multiple stories including a Captain Future adventure in which the hero fights enemy forces in an underground facility, discovering four more reinforcements emerging from below before rescuing an unconscious soldier. "Glass of Water," a prison break story by Michael O'Brien, follows escaped convict Spike Redmond and his cohort as they take Warden Lester's son Gilbert hostage; the clever boy uses a glass of water on a windowsill to free himself and helps capture the convicts. An additional adventure titled "A Cowardly Blow" depicts the Fighting Yank battling villains who cause a car plunge, from which he is rescued by a mysterious patriotic force emerging from the mists of time.
