The King of Cellmania
7 pp · western-frontier

An escaped convict disguises himself as a traveling royalty from a mythical kingdom to con an honest old-timer named Squinty out of money, supplies, and a horse. When Lash Larue, the roving marshal, arrives on the scene to recapture the fugitive, he finds the town in an uproar and Squinty caught in the middle of a scheme that's unraveled faster than anyone could've predicted. It's a clever con game that gets outsmarted by the one lawman who knows exactly where to look.

Ghost Gang
5 pp · western-frontier

When bank president John Bradley's son Bob gets trapped owing a dangerous gambling debt to Rip Lawson, the outlaw leader offers him a way out—help the Ghost Gang rob his father's bank. Tex Ritter, the Prairie Ranger, learns the truth from the dying Bob and tracks the gang's hideout to a secret room beneath Lawson's saloon, where he faces off against the masked outlaws single-handedly. It's a showdown between a lawman who knows the gang's weakness and criminals who are far more dangerous in numbers than they are one-on-one.

The Hermit of the Hills
7 pp · western-frontier

Secret Marshal Rocky Lane must recover stolen gold and find missing pictures of two dangerous highwaymen—but a grumpy hermit's remote ranch and a mysteriously abandoned hat complicate his investigation at every turn. With the stagecoach hijacked and its driver vanished, Rocky races to uncover whether the isolated landowner is simply territorial or something far more sinister in "The Hermit of the Hills."

Trapped
6 pp · western-frontier

Tom Mix accepts a seemingly routine job escorting a woman accused of leading an outlaw gang to the sheriff in Rockland County, but his prisoner Caroline Marston proves far more cunning than he bargained for. When she tricks him and escapes with the wagon, Tom must track her down—only to discover she's holed up with her entire band of female outlaws in a remote cabin. Outnumbered and bound by his own code against striking women, Tom must use his wits instead of his fists to capture the gang and complete his assignment.
