School Friend #219 is an anthology featuring three main stories. "The Riding Mystery at Moorland School" follows June Farmer, who wins a jumping competition on a horse named Prince, enabling Wendy's riding team to gain the necessary 15 points to continue their classes, but the victory raises questions about why Cyril Nokes had tried to prevent this outcome. "The Silent Three in the Highlands" by Helen Crawford concerns three schoolgirls—Betty Roland, Joan Derwent, and Peggy West—who uncover a secret involving Fiona Macleod and a hidden portrait of Bonnie Prince Charlie, ultimately exposing the schemes of their rival Vincent Craig and the corrupt Miss Drake. "Susie's Wonder Cruise" by Jane Preston depicts Susie aboard the S.S. Sunshine, where she becomes intrigued by the mysterious Margaret Jones, an aloof girl who avoids the games and social activities of other passengers, leading Susie to investigate the reasons for her isolation.
