School Friend #121 is an anthology issue containing three serials. "Secret Friends of the Sports Mistress" follows Imogen Kirby, who was dismissed from school after exposing a plot by prefects Heather Croft and Kay Richards; Imogen and her uncle discover a secret passage beneath the sundial on school grounds while investigating the conspiracy, encountering mysterious obstacles as they explore. "The Outlaw's Daughter" features Doreen, who receives a mysterious ring at a fiesta and enters Ramon's bazaar seeking information about an unknown gang leader connected to her father; she boldly infiltrates the gang's hideout using the ring as a password and discovers the gang's plans. "Freda's Quest at the Boys' School" by Stella Stirling involves Freda Marshall, a girl disguised as a boy, navigating a school mystery involving a fire and an accusation against fellow student Brian Tomlinson while trying to uncover the truth.
