Romantic Story #1 (1949)

This is an anthology issue containing multiple romantic stories. "The Heart's Surrender" depicts a confrontation between Marylin, an actress, and Ralph Edson, an actor she has been romantically involved with during a three-month theater run; after Marylin visits Ralph's apartment to demand answers about his cold behavior toward her, Ralph confesses his passionate love and they reconcile. The issue's cover also advertises three additional stories: "Runaway Girl," "For Love Alone," and "Faithless."
