Rangers Comics #58 contains two stories. "Firehair: Brides for the Buffalo-Men" follows the red-haired adventurer as she is caught in a dramatic rescue involving a fainting woman and a horse, with men discovering a medicine bag tied to the horse's bridle containing gold. In a second story, a warden pursues a criminal mastermind called Sintern through a dungeon-like setting; the warden confronts the villain after Sintern has activated a "synthos-chain," and the narrative culminates with the warden discovering the villain has called upon "the driver Jagger" and warned of gohalis threatening to invade the land. A wolf-boy character warns forest creatures of the gohalis' approach, rallying various animals to flee and prepare their defenses against the coming invasion.
