Maxwell the Mighty, a 1000 h.p. human, responds to Professor Dent's late-night distress call and discovers spies after the professor's secret formula. After battling the crooks in the laboratory, Maxwell uses his superhuman strength and electrical powers to stop them, burning down a rat's nest in the process. He then pursues the remaining criminals through a blazing building, catches a bomb in mid-air, and tosses it back at the fleeing villains. In a separate adventure, Peter Puck rides a mule to a bandit's lair in the mountains, where he uses his wits and agility to outwit the gang, ultimately securing victory with "Carramba!"
