Peggy and Mado spend four weeks touring France with their friend Sally. After sightseeing in Paris, the trio visits the Longchamps racetrack, the Bois de Boulogne, and Château de la Malmaison. They travel to Bordeaux, then to the seaside resort of Biarritz, where Peggy stays with Mado's brother Jacques and his wife at their summer home. The girls later take the express train "Golden Arrow" back to Paris, where they visit the cathedral at Chartres before returning home, having experienced the beauty and charm of France throughout their journey.
