Guardian of the Gold
6 pp · western-frontier

In the rugged frontier, a wounded army captain is left for dead after his escort is ambushed by four outlaws, one of whom—Tingo—hides the gold shipment in a crevice and sends a renegade Apache to guard it. As the cavalry returns with the captain’s wife, who pretends to be a grieving widow, the outlaws’ plans unravel when one of them, Snake, tries to steal the gold, only to be caught in a trap set by the captain and the Apache watcher.

The Sodbuster
1 pp · western-frontier

A lone homesteader arrives on the vast, treeless prairie, determined to claim his 160 acres by building a sod house from the thick, ancient turf he cuts with his plow. As he prepares the land for farming and constructs his shelter from the rich soil, he embodies the quiet resilience of early settlers taming the frontier. The story captures the stark beauty and hardship of pioneering life, where survival begins with a single, deliberate stroke of the plow.

Thunder Canyon
5 pp · western-frontier

In the rugged badlands canyon, young Nick Reed arrives at a remote shack to find his older brother Biggo tangled in a standoff with Sheriff Dan Ludlow and outlaw Sol Potter, who’s holding the sheriff at gunpoint. With tension flaring and secrets unraveling, Nick must decide whether to trust his brother’s past or follow the law—especially when Sol’s cousin Teddy Bowan shows up with threats and violence.

The Wild Bunch
6 pp · western-frontier

Five outlaws, broken and desperate, rally around Pete Reddin’s plan to rob the vault of Jeffords Tracy, a mining and cattle baron they once wronged. As they execute the heist with chilling precision, the tension mounts—until the vault door begins to close, trapping them inside.

Snake Bite
1 pp · western-frontier

A young man bitten by a rattlesnake refuses to panic, choosing to stay still and endure the swelling rather than risk riding to town in fear. His companion, Jack, urges him to flee, but the injured man insists that calm and patience are the best response—having survived a bite before, he knows the real danger lies in fear, not the venom itself.

Outlaw's Woman
6 pp · western-frontier

Reb Perry, a man driven to desperation by years of persecution and betrayal, robs a bank to secure a future for his ailing wife, Luann. As the sheriff closes in, Luann must choose between protecting her husband and standing by her principles, knowing the consequences could cost them both their freedom.
