1 pp · western-frontier · pencils ?; · inks ?; ?

A special breed of men wore the lawman's badge across the frontier—from Wild Bill Hickok's six-gun justice to Sheriff Pat Garrett's ruthless Winchester tactics, each lawman brought their own method to taming the West. This story celebrates the legendary sheriffs who stood against outlaws, including Arizona's Sheriff "Bucky" O'Neill and Wyatt Earp, men whose quick draw and quick thinking kept the frontier towns from falling into chaos.

Last Chance for a Badman
5 pp · western-frontier

Texas Ranger Frank Bellows arrives at a ranch under siege by the Cameron Brothers, only to discover the man inside is Luke Tatum—a reformed outlaw he'd arrested years before for a failed bank robbery. When the Camerons demand Luke join them in robbing the Oakdale Bank and he refuses, Bellows hatches a plan with the reformed man to draw out the gang and stop them for good.

Escape
5 pp · western-frontier

Canaday has spent two years plotting his escape from prison, and when he finally scales the wall, he makes for a nearby homestead where an accomplice has stashed supplies, cash, and a horse to carry him toward freedom. But as the posse closes in and Canaday pushes his mount hard across the frontier, his carefully laid plans begin to unravel in ways he didn't anticipate.

Fire Dancer
8 pp · western-frontier

Rocky Lane, the secret marshal, discovers that Crippled Fox—an Apache he arrested a year ago for horse theft—has returned to his tribe with a dangerous scheme: partnered with a white opportunist named Trask Harley, he's using mystical fire tricks and tribal influence to incite the Mescalero Apache to raid ranches and drive out settlers. Now Lane must stop both the uprising and expose the conspiracy behind it before the violence spirals out of control.
