Nyoka the Jungle Girl #71 (1952)

Nyoka discovers an underwater lair controlled by a giant octopus and manages to destroy its control mechanisms by using a rifle to trigger levers that cause the octopus to drag a ship down with it. A man confronts Nyoka afterward, accusing her of ruining his plans to locate Captain Kidd's treasure and salvage valuables from the underwater site, threatening to kill her for sabotaging his scheme. The issue also contains advertisement pages for Dubble Bubble gum and a "Trader Tom Hair Restorer" comic strip.
