Nyoka the Jungle Girl #47 (1950)

An anthology issue containing two complete jungle serials: "The Prehistoric Fossil" and "Amazon Island." In one storyline, Nyoka struggles to survive in the jungle while weakened from lack of food and attempts to find and rescue a man named Larry who has been captured and gagged by natives. In the other, a yellow cruiser is blown up in the river, and Nyoka searches for survivors while the Amazons regard her as both enemy and friend, placing her in a moral dilemma about whether to save a life or abandon someone to certain death.
