This issue contains three stories featuring teenage protagonist Kathy. In "I Wanted to Be an Artist," a young woman recalls how she took a boring job after high school, but sketched in her spare time and eventually discovered her artistic talent through a free talent test, leading to a career as a professional artist. "Nurse to You" follows Kathy as she attempts to impress a handsome new policeman by posing as a nurse, but her disguise fails when she accidentally splashes him with a pan of fried chicken. A third comic story shows Kathy cooking fried chicken that she destroys when startled, resulting in a kitchen mishap.
