Jungle Jim #11 (1949)

Jungle Jim faces danger when a woman named Rainee rips the lining from his jacket to steal a bag of jewels he brought back from India, then jumps into a crocodile-infested river. Jim pursues her into the water while being hunted by enemy gunmen tracking him through telescopic sights, forcing him to seek cover and eventually escape. After reuniting with Lieutenant Solters and his men, Jim learns that Rainee has opened the pouch of gems and dived back into the river, leading to a final confrontation as Jim pursues her through the jungle and crocodile-filled waters.
